Vintage Specs!!

I was fooling around on Etsy, looking for some info about some amazing vintage glasses I recently purchased, and quickly discovered so many lovely cateye glasses, that I'm forced to do a mini feature. Here are some of my favorites:

blacksheepyarn's Vintage French Cat Eye glasses are listed above, and are only $35!! Better snatch those up quickly. I love these Silver Cateyes from  VixenandPrudence. They are on sale for $55, just in time for Mother's Day!!

And I completely adore these 50's Gold Tipped frames from BackThennishVintage. 

Yes, please!! These are my favorites - priced at $175, and worth every penny.

Summertime = Vintage Swimsuits

 

Summertime is just around the corner!

Are you planning a boating trip? Or, a vacation somewhere warm? Maybe you're heading to a friend's pool party? You should rock this season's swimwear Vintage-Style! Here's a little taste of my vintage swimsuit collection, some of which I've posted . . . and others that I'm hanging onto a bit longer.

In the mix, we have 1960's one-piece romper style swimsuit with build in bloomers, a boycut one-piece with a matching tie belt, a french cut vixen swimsuit from Jag, and a classic 80's Jantzen Nautical cutie. I have yet to list these lovelies below: a backless halter bathing suit with embroidered gold anchor, and a new wave 80's rainbow suit with drawstring neck. Way too adorable . . . and so much more to come.

Deer? Yes, Please!!

Question: Why do we love deer so much? 

Answer: Because they are the animal of maximum cuteness!!

I always buy up all the deer I can, whether it be vintage or handmade. I bought these Deer Egg Cups, from BROOKLYNrehab, back in December. Aren't they amazing? And, they're only $12. Her shop is one of my favs on Etsy!

My shop's banner & avatar (featuring the cutest doe ever) is from talented graphic designer, ReBrand! Her shop is fabulous, and she's a lovely seller. She also made up these custom ads for me in less than 24 hours!! 

  

Currently in my Etsy favs, is this amazing fawn sweet plate from laurawallstaylor. It's perfection!! I can officially say, that this little plate is on my bday list.

A very stately buck, from I'mSoVintage is a must have for all of us deer enthusiasts!! She's even having a sale right now! Go check it out.

I really struggled with selling this, but decided that I had too many deer on my shelves already!! It's my Woodland Deer Vase...

Truly, the sweetest planter I've ever come across.

My Mustard Craving!

I've been drawn to mustard everywhere: in my thrifting, from my closet, as my accessories, and even on my sandwiches. I think it's been dreary too long and I'm ready to have some flavor! So, to kick off my new blog, my recent shop makeover and to indulge my craving, mustard is my color of the week. 

Some of my favorite mustards from my shop are highlighted on the left, and here are a few more that can be found on Etsy, in my favorites. They are all amazing! 

First, we have a Dainty Yellow Knit Blouse, from telephoneghost, that I'm totally in love with! 

Next, we need a bag. My favorite mustard bag is from morelle , called a Truffle in Mustard. Yes, please!! 

Lastly, I feel we need my favorite compliment to mustard yellow . . . slate grey. I love this mini flannel skirt from Baolini!
